Appointment Policies

One important element for an effective therapeutic outcome is for us both to set our appointment times as a priority.  Cancellations are discouraged for both therapeutic and scheduling reasons.  Further, considering the value of continuity, multiple or frequent cancellations will impede progress.  Since the scheduling of an appointment involves the reservation of time specifically for you, at least a 48-hour notice (two full business days Monday-Friday) is required for a cancelled session (Saturday and Sunday are not business days).  Otherwise you will be charged in full for the unused appointment time.  There are no exceptions.  In extreme emergencies, if another hour can be booked within that week, I’m happy to offer that time slot, and there will not be a cancellation fee.
